Our filtered light treatment stimulates melanin absorption, causing the pigmented area to darken and gently flake away. VASCULAR: For vascular conditions such as broken capillaries, rosacea, diffused redness, leg veins, and cherry angiomas. A unique, high-powered laser is applied at the correct depth to deliver pulses of light energy to the unwanted vessels which the body will then absorb.

A cooled hand piece is used for your comfort and protection.

Common questions

 

  • No special preparation is needed before having this treatment but we do request that your face and body is free from self tanning products prior.

    All makeup and skin care products will be removed from the target area before treatment.

  • Continue with your home care. 

    It is completely normal for the treated area to feel a bit tender, slightly swollen and flushed or hot to touch.  

    Facial swelling usually peaks around 24-48 hours post treatment and will resolve within a few days.

    To help ease these minor side effects, treat the area in the following way:

    • Avoid using tweezers, waxes and depilatory creams until at least 3 days after the treatment.

    • Apply a SPF30+ sunblock on the day of the treatment and subsequent days, to avoid irritation from direct exposure to sunlight.

  • This cutting-edge technology delivers pulses of light energy specifically targeted at the unwanted vessels, which are then absorbed by the body.

  • Results are noticed immediately, however we suggest 1-2 treatments for full results.

  • PIGMENT: Treatments are to be spaced 4 weeks apart and a course of 4-6 is usually required

    VASCULAR: Treatments are to be spaced 2-3 weeks apart and a course of 3-4 is usually required.

  • Treatments can feel similar to a quick rubber band snap against the skin. Depending on the procedure, a topical anaesthetic may be applied if you have any concerns.

  • There is no downtime associated with the treatments. You can resume all normal activities immediately after treatment.
