WHAT IS IT?
UltraClear’s cold laser beams precisely remove damaged epidermal cells to clear surface irregularities while minimising thermal-induced side effects as well as reducing pain. UltraClear’s superior beam quality enables even energy distribution, delivering highly consistent resurfacing results. Like deep exfoliation, UltraClear promotes growth of new and fresh skin cells that are smoother, healthier and more radiant. Our 3D Miracle treatment can also remove pre-cancerous cells in the top layers of the epidermis.
Unlike older CO₂ lasers, UltraClear is designed for superior precision and safety; its high-repetition fibre delivery and small spot size eliminate erratic beam patterns for uniform coverage. Practitioners can adjust the intensity and mode depending on need – from a gentle fractional resurfacing to a deeper ablative peel, even up to full-thickness laser-tissue coring for severe wrinkles or lax skin. This versatility makes UltraClear effective on a wide range of concerns.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Using advanced cold laser technology, laser beams precisely remove damaged epidermal cells to clear surface irregularities while minimising thermal-induced side effects as well as reducing pain.
By ablating the top layer and heating the dermis, it jump-starts collagen and elastin production, resulting in tighter, firmer skin and more even tone as old pigment fades and new skin forms, stimulating deep rejuvenation.
Treatment areas
UltraClear Laser can be used for treating areas such as the face (cheeks, eyes, forehead, lips, lower face, nose), neck/decolletage.
It’s best for
UltraClear is an ablative laser designed to rejuvenate the skin for individuals in their 30s and older with mild to moderate sun damage, fine lines, wrinkles, rough texture, acne scars, or uneven pigmentation. Additionally, it offers the added benefit of removing pre-cancerous cells in the upper layers of the epidermis.
The good news is, UltraClear’s cold design minimises unwanted heat spread, so it can safely treat Fitzpatrick skin types I-VI.
The treatment experience
After a thorough consultation with your skin specialist, a customised treatment plan is created. Photos are taken, and then a topical anaesthetic is applied to keep you comfortable during the treatment.
Treatment is performed, and cooling is used post-treatment to aid in quicker recovery. The system allows everything from a very light “lunchtime peel” to a full ablative peel in one session. Your skin specialist can tailor the energy, density and mode to your needs – even blending settings in one pass – for optimal results.
Three days later, we welcome you back for a follow-up Healite LED treatment.
Common questions
-
Simultaneously, UltraClear forms thermal injuries in the mid dermis by depositing controllable thermal energy, which in turn starts the skin's self-healing process to promote internal growth of collagen (neocollagenesis), elastin and hyaluronic acid through a presumed mechanism of action of dermal remodelling. New skin forms, old pigment fades and stimulating deep rejuvenation resulting in tighter, firmer skin.
-
Results start to appear once the skin has healed.
Clinical trials show Ultraclear produces moderate-to marked improvement in photoaged skin with high client satisfaction. Because results improve over weeks, clients typically notice continual smoothing of wrinkles and pigment.
-
A typical full face UltraClear session takes 15-30 mins. The cooling fibre technology keeps discomfort low with most clients rating discomfort at 3/10. Topical anaesthetic is applied pre-treatment.
-
UltraClear causes little to no bleeding (much less than skin needling), so recovery is easier than with fully ablative CO lasers. Depending on the depth of treatment, downtime can be anywhere from 2 to 10 days. Planning with your skin specialist will allow you to prepare for expected downtime.
-
Lighter treatments can be performed monthly, while deeper treatments might require a bit more downtime.
A course of 3 – 6 treatments is recommended depending on concerns.
