Laser Genesis is an ideal treatment for the face, neck, chest and other areas of the body with noticeable signs of aging, sun damage, redness, mild wrinkles and scarring.

The treatment experience

We will prep your skin with a thorough cleanse and then deliver micro-pulses of laser energy gently to the skin using our state of the art laser genesis. The painless sensation feels like warm rain drops on the skin and requires no down time.

Skin will appear improved after the first treatment, however we recommend 4-6 sessions for ultimate results.

Common questions

 

  • No special preparation is needed before having this treatment but we do request that your face is free from self tanning products prior. All makeup and skin care products will be removed from the target area before treatment.

  • Continue with your home care. 

    It is completely normal for the treated area to feel a bit tender, slightly swollen and flushed or hot to touch.  

    To help ease these minor side effects, treat the area in the following way:

    • Avoid using tweezers, waxes and depilatory creams until at least 3 days after the treatment.

    • Apply a SPF30+ sunblock on the day of the treatment and subsequent days, to avoid irritation from direct exposure to sunlight.

  • Micro-pulses of laser energy are gently delivered to the skin to stimulate the body’s natural collagen production. Laser Genesis improves facial redness and scarring by targeting the excess micro vessels under the skin.

  • Results are noticed immediately, however we suggest 4-6 treatments for full results. Results will continue to improve for months after your last treatment.

  • You will experience a gentle warming of your skin’s surface during the procedure, the sensation feels like warm rain drops.

  • There is no downtime associated with the treatments. You can resume all normal activities immediately after treatment.
